Score one for Candy!

I decided it's fun having Candy around - I mean, who else can I roll in the mud, Chani? She's too big and totally boring. But I can get Candy totally soaked - it's awesome! A personal spa treatment! She loves it! Mom isn't so thrilled but who cares!

Here's the score so far for puppy antics:

  • Chewed items: one of Dad's socks, one scrabble tile, one polymer clay bead, one rug, one slipper, any paper that is in reach.
  • Stupid puppy tricks: Licking the electrical outlet, playing bite the Swiffer
  • Crazy girl!

Dad has been letting Candy sleep outside her crate and Mom says that is not going to happen anymore. She thinks Candy is up to no good in the hours between when Dad goes to work and Mom gets up. If Mom wasn't so lazy then Candy could be supervised. Not my job!

Nothing is safe now, bwa ha ha

Here's a photo for Hana ... the popcorn bowl is too big, it wouldn't fit ...

    A little annoying ...

... to say the least! Sometimes a guy just wants to relax without some little girl nipping at his face.

Let's not even start talking about Auntie Chani -- she's a traitor! I've told you that she won't let me nip toddlers? Well, now she won't let me growl at the little interloper either! If I'm 'rasslin with her and I decide enough is enough and try to growl to tell her, then old Auntie Chani comes and stands over me - literally stands over me- and growls at ME until I stand perfectly still and quiet. I am SO pissed at her. Where's the fun in all of this?

On the upside, she did get in trouble for chewing some shoes and the furniture this morning. Sweet!

Look what the cat dragged home!

Look what the cat Mom and Dad brought home tonight ... it's a mini-me!

a very hungry mini-me ... is there food under this table?

maybe I can get to it from this side ...

since she's that hungry I figured I'd give her a begging lesson

Let me introduce my new sister .. her name is Candy (at least for now) and she is 6 months old. I don't know if I like her or not yet - we'll see ...

    I've been busy!

I keep waiting for Copper to think of me and realize I can help him find Hershey but he went to the east coast to find out how to mush - how silly he is - but then he's a dachshund so what can you expect!

I've been keeping out of trouble and I even occasionally get to lick this little guy.

Chani blew out her other knee yesterday so I think she's going to have to have surgery again. I'll be taking care of her soon. It just never ends.

Life is good overall - hope you all are doing well and finding great treats!

    Happy New Year!

We got a New Year treat ... yeah, right, some treat ... peas ... who gets peas for a New Year's treat? My Mom is sooooo weird!

Then look who wins Couch of the Year ... sigh .... she has no pride ... anyone can just lay on her and she doesn't care ... care? Hah - she doesn't even MOVE! What is wrong with this dog!

    Hana was right!!!!

I got a great present in the mail from my buddy Hana and here's what she said in her letter ....

    Dear Zach,
I know your birthday is coming up and I know that new baby of your sister's is taking up a LOT of your parent's time since they are ooh-ing and ahh-ing over it. So, I thought since you weren't receiving much attention, plus your parents are probably going to FORGET about your birthday, I decided to make you a ribbon necklace of your very own. So much for that artsy crafty mom that you have over there.

I hope you have a happy birthday and that your parents help you to celebrate. Signed, Hana the Dog

Well, guess what? Hana was right .. they DID FORGET MY BIRTHDAY ... it was this past Sunday. Bah. Useless humans. At least Hana remembered me. If she wasn't going out with Casper, I'd ask her out myself! After all, look how handsome I look in my new ribbon collar! Thanks, Hana, you're the
    best!
